12 straight days on the ship. From Honolulu to Kobe. Open sea the whole way. Remember when you read somewhere or someone said offhandedly that the Pacific is the largest ocean and makes up xx% of the water on Earth. There never was any reason to doubt such claims. A week ago we picked up all the students and began our long trek across the Pacific. We were going to be on a ship for a whole week with 600 college students, I know what you’re thinking, how did we ever survive! First of all we are on the highest deck where there are cabins.
