To and in Hawaii, Tate

A week ago we picked up all the students and began our long trek across the Pacific. We were going to be on a ship for a whole week with 600 college students, I know what you’re thinking, how did we ever survive! First of all we are on the highest deck where there are cabins. Some students are as many as five decks below us. Classes started two days after we left Mexico. We’re on a ship, not a boat. This is a voyage, not a cruise. Left is port, right is starboard. The ship rolls to port and starboard and pitches to fore and aft. And I got a headache because this ship, on its voyage, does a fair amount of pitching fore to aft.
